Rev James Howell

I am a pastor, a scholar, a writer and a real person who spends time and energy thinking about God and our lives in this world – and sharing my reflections with you. I sense a special connection with the intellectually curious, and with those wounded by and cynical about the church. Sure, I have a Ph.D. in theology from Duke, but more importantly, I’ve shared life with hurting and hopeful people I love, and have tried to connect my wide reading with what’s really going on with folks, and God. I love tying in to people by what I’ve written and shared – and look forward to hearing from you!
