The Election, Your Spirituality & the Soul of our Nation

I think I’ll take a break from my alternating Old and New Testament reflections to start something different during this season. I’m calling it The Election, Your Spirituality, & the Soul of Our Nation. How do Christians sort things out, and interact with others in a holy, constructive way? How do you engage and maintain your spiritual equilibrium? Does God care about the results? Are there genuinely Christian positions? What is happening, and what can be done about the Soul of our Nation?

Beginning a week from today, I’ll devote my biweekly emails to some unfolding thoughts on this topic. I promise they’ll be shorter than recent emails! Encourage folks you know to sign up! Or share by forwarding.

Also: if you have questions on the topic, or worries for your spirituality or the soul of our nation during these days, reply and share with me! That will help me prepare.

And: on Wednesday, August 7, at 11am I’ll lead an in-person program and conversation on The Election, Your Spirituality, & the Soul of Our Nation in our new Center of Hope, Auditorium, 4th floor. Join us! and bring a friend.
